On Friday night, we visited Nottingham Light Night. Whilst there, we stopped by Brewhouse yard, a row of houses which are steeped in history. Here are some of the caves underneath the houses, they were used during the second world war as air raid shelters. I love the shadows being made, it was really cold but very interesting.
Wow, you've really managed to capture the atmosphere. It's like its been frozen in time #bwproject
ReplyDeleteThat's a great bit of history there. It does capture the cold!
ReplyDeleteStunning photo - very atmospheric in black and white and I love the lighting and shadows.

ReplyDeleteWow that's great, who'd think they were still like that today x
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of Alice in wonderland! Love little old buildings like this, they have so much character.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, with the table set it looks almost like it could be cosy, but the stone walls do look cold x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot. Such character x #bwphotoproject

ReplyDeleteLucas says - This is such a cool place to visit and you're right about the shadows - they look really cool. #bwphotoproject
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous photo and such a great place to visit. I would never have thought as it as a shelter for during the war. It looks more like something from The Hobbit. Great photo. #bwphotoproject
